Description
This as a rare, one of a kind protective pendant from the middle east tribal area of Northern Afghanistan and into Kazaksthan. Age unknown but probably early 20th century. Dimensions are 8.5 by 8.0 cms, and the silver weight is 42 gms. It is handmade using the repousse method, then finely engraved to create a piece of exceptional beauty. It comes on a long woven leather band, strong and elegant.
