This is a genuine very old solid silver pendant from Rajasthan. Usually worn by men and a reference to Shiva, the fierce destroyer of evil. It thus acts as a protector by fighting off any negative influences. Also worshipped as the creator, and often anointed with vegetable oil, the Lingham represents positive male energy. It comes on woven leather with handworked silver ends. length 3 cms. width 2 cms.
