This is a genuine very old solid silver pendant from Rajasthan. Usually worn by men and a reference to Shiva, the fierce destroyer of evil. It thus acts as a protector by fighting off any negative influences. Also worshipped as the creator, and often anointed with vegetable oil, the Lingham represents positive male energy.
